Installing the "Digital Voice Editor" Software Installing the software Install the "Digital Voice Editor" Software in your computer's hard disk, etc. Note Do not connect the IC recorder to the computer before installing the Software (page 48). 1 Turn on your computer and start up Windows. Note Be sure to close all running programs before installing the software. 2 Insert the supplied CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive. The installer automatically starts up and the following display appears. If the installer does not start up, double-click [DVE setup. exe.] in the [English] folder. 3 Follow the displayed instructions. When the [Restart] dialog box appears, click [OK] to restart the computer. Now the installation is completed. 46
