About the Menu Function Tabs (Playback) Menu items AVLS (Edit) Protect Settings (*: Initial setting) See page Sets the AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) 11 function. ON*: The AVLS function that maintains a moderate volume level is effective when listening with the headphones. OFF: The AVLS function does not work and the sound is played back at the original volume. When you set the function to "OFF," the "Advise to not listen at high VOL for long periods" animation is displayed with a beeping sound. Press x STOP to return to the menu mode display. P Notes • When you turn off the function, please be careful not to listen to an excessive volume of the sound. • When you listen to the sound using the headphones for the specific period of time, the AVLS function is automatically turned on even if you set "AVLS" to "OFF" in the menu. • If you adjust the volume to a level that exceeds the AVLS-specified level, the volume will be set to a moderate volume level when you turn off the IC recorder. Protects the selected file to prevent the file from being 66 erased, divided, or being moved. Execute: The selected file will be protected.
