Transferring Files from Your Computer to the IC Recorder You can play back music or language files (MP3/WMA*) from your computer using the IC recorder. You can make an MP3/WMA file using either a player software application installed on your computer or a commercially available software application. * For the file formats that can be played back using the IC recorder, refer to "Specifications" (page 104). Copying a music file from your computer to the IC recorder (drag and drop) 1 Connect the IC recorder to your computer (page 69). On the Windows screen; open "My Computer" and make sure that "IC RECORDER" has been recognized. On the Macintosh screen; make sure that an "IC RECORDER" drive is displayed on the desk top. 2 Copy the folder in which the music files are stored to the IC recorder. On the Windows screen using Explorer, and on the Macintosh screen using Finder, drag and drop the folder onto the IC recorder. The IC recorder can recognize up to 500 folders.
