General Settings Language Info Banner Display Position Cooling Mode Lamp Replacement Select the language of your choice from English, Español and Français to be used for displaying all the on screen settings. Displays the program name and the program information such as program title and program rating (if available from the broadcaster) when option is set to On. Select Off for minimal display information. Selecting Off will not completely disable the banner display. Info Banner also appears on the screen each time the channel is changed or DISPLAY button on the remote control is pressed. ~ • To see the rating information on the banner, Info Banner setting must be set to On. When selected, the guide markers for the TV Display Position will appear at four corners of the screen. Adjust Vertical position and/or Horizontal position by pressing V/v/B/b buttons to evenly position the markers. Select High to use the TV at an altitude of 5,000 feet (1,500 m) or higher. Select Normal to use the TV at normal altitude. When the lamp nears the end of its life, a message will appear every time the TV is turned on. After the lamp is replaced, select this option then follow the steps on screen. Initial Setup If you have missed the Initial Setup when you first connected the TV or if you want to scan all receivable channels, you can run the Initial Setup. Follow the instructions on the screen. Settings such as picture and sound adjustments will not be affected by this Initial Setup. ~ • Favorites list will be cleared each time you run the Initial Setup. 38
