TV Controls and Connectors Display Unit Front panel Setup The table top stand is supplied with KDL32XBR950 only. (The table top stand is optional for KDL42XBR950.) Item Description 1 Speakers (Left/Right) Outputs audio signal. The speakers on the model KDL42XBR950 can be detached and used with the optional speaker stand. For details, see page 26. 2 (IR) Infrared Receiver Receives IR signals from the remote control. 3 PICTURE When lit, indicates that the Picture Off feature is activated. OFF LED For details, see page 73. 4 TIMER LED When lit, indicates one of the timers is set. When the timer is set, this LED will remain lit even if the TV set is turned off. For details, see page 117. 5 1 POWER/ STANDBY LED Lights up in green when the TV set is turned on. When in standby mode, the LED lights up in red. The LED does not light up when the main power is turned off. If the LED blinks continuously, this may indicate the display unit needs servicing (see "Contacting Sony" on page 121). 18

Outputs audio signal. The speakers on the model
KDL42XBR950 can be detached and used with the optional

Receiver
Receives IR signals from the remote control.

OFF LED
When lit, indicates that the Picture Off feature is activated.
