Error Messages Error message Cause/Remedy Low Battery Level • You cannot format the memory or delete all the files in a folder because of insufficient battery power. Prepare new batteries to replace the current ones. Change Battery • Batteries are exhausted. Replace the old LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries with new ones. Or charge the rechargeable batteries, or replace the old rechargeable batteries with new ones (page 13). Power Problem • An incompatible AC power adaptor may be connected. Check the specifications of the AC power adaptor you are using. Use a commercially-available AC power adaptor applicable to the PCM recorder (page 14). Memory Full • The remaining memory capacity of the PCM recorder is insufficient. Delete some tracks before recording (page 30). • If you copy a large number of files or folders to the directory that is located immediately below "MEMORY CARD" on the computer, editing operations with the PCM recorder may become disabled. Save a backup copy of unwanted files or folders on your computer and delete them from the PCM recorder. Track Full • When there are already 99 tracks in the selected folder, you cannot record a new track. Delete some tracks before recording a new track (page 30). T-MARK(Track Marks) are • You can set up to 98 track marks for a track. Cancel unwanted Full marks (page 60). Cannot Divide - Exceeding • When there are already 99 tracks in the selected folder or the total Maximum Number of Tracks number of files stored in the PCM recorder exceeds the maximum, in Folder you cannot divide a track. Delete some tracks before recording a new track. 108GB
