ON: The LIMITER function is activated. OFF*: The LIMITER function is cancelled. P Note This feature is effective only when REC LEVEL switch is set to "MANUAL." z On the limiter circuit • The limiter circuit functions to keep the signal level below the maximum input level. When a loud sound is input suddenly, the excess part of the sound is automatically set within the range of the maximum input level in order to prevent distortion. • The limiter circuit of the PCM recorder does not compensate for clipping when audio over 12 dB is input. In this case, sound may be distorted. Set the pre-recording function on and off. The pre-recording 34 function allows you to record sound sources for approximately 5 seconds prior to the point when the recording is started. Sounds for approximately 5 seconds are buffered in the memory. ON: The pre-recording function is activated. OFF*: The pre-recording function is cancelled. 81GB
