System Board 55 USB Ports, USB Header, and Ethernet Port There are three USB ports that permit connection of three USB peripheral devices directly to the system without having to use an external hub. USB1 is a standard USB port that is accessible from the rear panel. USBHEAD is a 12-pin header that connects to two standard USB ports (USB2 and USB3) that are accessible at the bottom of the front panel. An internal cable connects USBHEAD to an interface board behind the front panel. If more USB devices are needed, connect an external hub to any USB port.
