Locking your Sony handheld by passwords You can lock your Sony handheld with a password to protect information. You must then enter the password when you rotate on your device to gain access to the information on it. Notes • When your Sony handheld had been locked, you must enter the correct password to restart. • If you forgot the password, you must perform a hard reset to resume using your Sony handheld. Performing a hard reset deletes all records in your Sony handheld. (You can restore all data that was backed up in the computer using HotSync.) 1 Back up the data in your Sony handheld using the HotSync. See "Exchanging and Updating Data using Hot Sync Operations" for more information. 2 Assign a password, as described in "Assigning a password" (124 page). 3 Tap icon and select System from the dropdown list in the upper right corner. You can lock your Sony handheld with a password to protect information.
You must then enter the password when you rotate on your device to gain
access to the information on it.

If you forgot the password, you must perform a hard reset to resume using your Sony
