Locating a Specific Track You can quickly locate any track while playing a disc by using the AMS . and > (Automatic Music Sensor) on the deck, . and > buttons on the remote, or number buttons on the remote. When using the remote, set SELECT to CD for operations on DECK A, or to CDR for operations on DECK B. AMS ./> SELECT Number buttons ./> To locate Do the following: Stop playback Press x. The next or succeeding tracks During playback, press AMS* > (or press > on the remote repeatedly) until you find the track. The beginning During playback, press AMS . of the current or (or press . on the remote preceding tracks repeatedly) until you find the track. A specific track Press the number button(s) on the directly remote to enter the track number. * AMS: Automatic Music Sensor Tips To pause playing at the beginning of a track, press AMS . or > (or press . or > on the remote) after pausing playback. Playing directly using the number buttons You can playback a track directly by using the number buttons. Press the track number you want to play. The track will be played shortly after you press the number buttons. If the number is 2 digits, press the second digit immediately after you press the first digit. Example: When you press 1 (or 2 ,etc.), "1--" appears on the front panel display. If you don't press the second digit immediately, track 1 will be played shortly after "1--" appears on the front panel display. 10
