Settings for Speakers (SPEAKER SETUP) Specifying the rear speaker position and height Specify the position and height of the rear speakers, referring to the diagram on page 17. The default setting is underlined. • BEHIND (LOW) Select this if the rear speakers are located in the section B and D. • BEHIND (HIGH) Select this if the rear speakers are located in the section B and C. • SIDE (LOW) Select this if the rear speakers are located in the section A and D. • SIDE (HIGH) Select this if the rear speakers are located in the section A and C. xDISTANCE See page 17. xBALANCE See page 18. xLEVEL See page 18. xTEST TONE You can hear the test tone from each speaker in sequence. The default setting is underlined. • OFF: The test tone is not emitted from speakers. • ON: During adjustment of "BALANCE" or "LEVEL," the test tone is emitted from both speakers simultaneously. To adjust the volume of all the speakers at one time Use the MASTER VOLUME +/- buttons. To return to the default setting Select the item, then press CLEAR on the remote. Adjusting the speaker volume 1 When nothing is played, select "SPEAKER SETUP" after pressing DVD SETUP on the remote. 2 Select "TEST TONE" and set "TEST TONE" to "ON." You will hear the test tone from each speaker in sequence. 3 From your listening position, select "BALANCE" or "LEVEL" and adjust the value of "BALANCE" and "LEVEL" using the M/m buttons. Select the item, then press CLEAR on the remote.

From your listening position, select “BALANCE” or
“LEVEL” and adjust the value of “BALANCE” and
“LEVEL” using the

During this adjustment, the test tone is emitted from
