Administrating the SNT-V704 Setting the Camera - Camera setting Page When you click Camera on the Administrator menu, the Camera setting page appears. Use this page to set the functions of the camera. Camera Channel Selection Section A different camera setting can be performed for each camera. Before setting, select the channel to which the camera you are going to set the camera functions is connected. The channel number is the same as the connector number t 1 to 4 to which the camera is connected on this unit. Camera setting Section The camera setting section displays different contents due to the connected cameras. This section displays the features only the selected camera is equipped with. (The display below is an example of BRC-300.) Note To update for the changed setting, click Apply on the changed item. Camera ID Select the address of the connected camera. BRC-300: Select the same number as the camera address set with the camera address selectors on the bottom of the camera. For details on the camera address selectors, refer to the Operating Instructions supplied with the camera. Cameras not manufactured by Sony: Select the same number as the camera address set on the camera. For the camera address setting, refer to the User's Guide or other manual supplied with the camera. Note For Bosch cameras, only 1 to 999 can be set as Camera ID. Image Select Color or Monochrome. Zoom mode When you select Full, you can select the optical × electronic zoom. After the optical zoom becomes active, the electronic zoom becomes active. When you select Optical only, you can select the optical zoom. Note When you use the electronic zoom on the connected BRC-300, enable the electronic zoom using the menu of the BRC-300. Focus mode Select the focus mode. Select Auto to adjust the focus automatically. Select Manual to adjust the focus manually using the NEAR and FAR buttons on the main viewer page. If you click the ONE PUSH AF button, the focus is adjusted instantly. (See "Focusing" on page 22.) White balance mode Select the white balance mode. You can select from among Auto, Indoor, Outdoor, One push WB, ATW and Manual. If you select One push WB, the One push trigger button is displayed. Click the Apply to adjust the white balance instantly. If you select Manual, the R Gain and B Gain controls are displayed. Set 0 to 255 for each control. Exposure mode Select the exposure from among Full auto, Shutter priority, Iris priority and Manual. The setting items required for each setting appear. Full auto: Adjusts the exposure automatically using the electronic shutter, iris and gain. Select the Back light compensation menu On or Off. Shutter priority: Adjusts the exposure automatically using the iris and gain. Select the electronic shutter speed from the Shutter drop-down list. 31 Setting the Camera - Camera setting Page

Setting the Camera
– Camera setting Page
When you click
Camera
on the Administrator menu,
the Camera setting page appears.
Use this page to set the functions of the camera.
Camera Channel Selection Section
A different camera setting can be performed for each
camera.
Before setting, select the channel to which the camera
you are going to set the camera functions is connected.
The channel number is the same as the connector
number

1 to 4 to which the camera is connected on
this unit.
Camera setting Section
The camera setting section displays different contents
due to the connected cameras. This section displays the
features only the selected camera is equipped with.

Note
To update for the changed setting, click

Select the address of the connected camera.
BRC-300:
Select the same number as the camera
address set with the camera address selectors on the
bottom of the camera.
For details on the camera address selectors, refer to
the Operating Instructions supplied with the camera.
Cameras not manufactured by Sony:
Select the same
number as the camera address set on the camera.
For the camera address setting, refer to the User’s
Guide or other manual supplied with the camera.

Select the focus mode.
