Direct tuning Enter a frequency of the station directly by using NUM menu or numeric buttons on the remote. For details on the supplied remote, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the remote. RM-LJ312 1 Press INPUT SELECTOR, then select "TUNER" from the input list. You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver. 2 Press > repeatedly until SUB menu appears, then select "FM/AM" from the SUB menu to select the FM or AM band. You can also use FM/AM on the receiver. 3 Select "DIRECT TUNING" from the SUB menu. 4 Press > on the remote repeatedly until NUM menu appears, then select the numbers for the frequency. Example 1: FM 102.50 MHz Select 1 b 0 b 2 b 5 b 0 (You do not have to enter the last "0" when the tuning scale is set to 100 kHz.) Example 2: AM 1,350 kHz Select 1 b 3 b 5 b 0 (You do not have to enter the last "0" when the tuning scale is set to 10 kHz.) If you have tuned in an AM station, adjust the direction of the AM loop antenna for optimum reception.
