Getting Started 5: Preparing the receiver and the remote Connecting the AC power cord (mains lead) Connect the supplied AC power cord (mains lead) to the AC IN terminal on the receiver, then connect the AC power cord (mains lead) to a wall outlet. AC OUTLET* AC IN terminal • Make sure that the total power consumption of the component(s) connected to the receiver's AC OUTLET(s) does not exceed the wattage stated on the rear panel. Do not connect high-wattage electrical home appliances such as electric irons, fans, or TVs to this outlet. This may cause a malfunction. Performing initial setup operations Before using the receiver for the first time, initialize the receiver by performing the following procedure. 5: Preparing the receiver

Connect the supplied AC power cord (mains
lead) to the AC IN terminal on the receiver,
