Error/Warning Messages The following error messages and warning messages may be displayed on the video monitor or printer window display. Note the messages and act accordingly. Error messages If a problem occurs, the ALARM lamp lights in orange and an error message appears on the monitor video and printer window display. Trouble: Head Pos Mech. Trouble: Temp Mech. Trouble: Fan Possible causes and remedies • Paper has jammed inside the printer. Remove any jammed paper from the printer. (page 86) In some cases, this message may remain even after the jammed paper is removed. To clear the message, try removing the paper feed tray and reinserting it with paper loaded inside. • The base plate of the printer is detached. Attach the base plate securely. Check Paper: Printing
Paper has jammed inside the printer.
Remove any jammed paper from the printer. (page 86) In some cases, this message may
remain even after the jammed paper is removed. To clear the message, try removing the
paper feed tray and reinserting it with paper loaded inside.
The base plate of the printer is detached.
