About the internal battery When the player is operated on the internal battery, the battery charge gradually decreases. The battery icon on the display indicates the current state of the battery's charge. Icon Meaning Battery charge of 75% or more Battery charge of 50 - 75% Battery charge of 25 - 50% Battery charge of 5 - 25% Battery charge of less than 5% Player is powered by AC adapter (battery is charging) Player is powered by AC adapter (battery is fully charged) Notes • The numbers given for remaining battery capacity are only approximate. The actual operation time with the battery will depend on the usage environment, number of charged, and various other factors. • When discarding the player, follow the instructions on page 29 to remove the battery properly.
