English 5 N Push the union nut (4) over the intake opening. N Line up the arrows (3 and 5). N Rotate the union nut (4) in direction of arrow until the lever (6) engages audibly on the fan housing. Removing the Elbow 1 N Shut off the engine. N Rotate the union nut (1) in the direction of the arrow as far as the stop. N Operate the lever (1), rotate the union nut (2) in direction of arrow as far as the stop and remove together with the suction tube. 4 5 N Position the intake screen (3) on the intake opening. N Line up the arrows (4). N Rotate the intake screen nut (3) in direction of arrow until the lever (5) engages audibly on the fan housing. 290BA017 KN 290BA011 KN Connecting to Power Supply Make sure your cord set is in good condition. When using an extension cord set, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized extension cord set will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The table below shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord. Removing the Elbow

Shut off the engine.

Rotate the union nut (1) in the
direction of the arrow as far as the
stop.

Remove the elbow (2).
Removing the Suction Tube

Switch offf the motor.

Operate the lever (1), rotate the
union nut (2) in direction of arrow as
far as the stop and remove together
with the suction tube.

Position the intake screen
(3) on the
intake opening.

Line up the arrows (4).
N
Rotate the intake screen nut (3) in
direction of arrow until the lever (5)
engages audibly on the fan housing.
