BATTERY INSTALLATION (For Model 3 CD-20) Close cover. 1 Open battery cover and slide it in direction of arrow. C J C + thy ti -v 2 Insert two "AA" size batteries observing polarity (+ and -) as marked in compartment. Improper installation may damage remote control unit. C -11 Note: When remote operating range decreases, replace both batteries with fresh ones. CAUTIONS: Always use fresh batteries. * If you do not plan to use remote control for a long time (one month or more) remove batteries. * Never leave dead or weak batteries in remote control unit. * If batteries do leak, clean chemicals from battery compartment with mild detergent and cotton swab. Install new batteries. * Do not put books or other objects on top of remote control. If buttons are continuously pressed batteries run down. - 9 -
