Maintenance

Page 17 highlights

MAINTENANCE CLEANING CABINET Wipe front panel and or exterior surfaces of this unit with a clean, soft, dry cloth from time to time. In case of heavy dirt, use soft damp cloth soaked in a neutral detergent solution and wipe with dry cloth. Do not use volatile chemicals such as benzine, thinner or insecticide. * Do not use record cleaning sprays or antistatic agents to clean a disc. * Never clean discs with benzene, thinner, or other volatile solvents, since damage to disc surface may result. CLEANING DISCS Presence of fingerprints or smudges on surface of disc does not directly affect recorded signals, but depending on degree of contamination, brightness of light reflected from signal surfaces may be reduced, causing degradation of sound quality. * Always keep your discs clean by wiping them gently with a soft dry cloth from inner edge toward outer periphery.
