SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Your TEAC CD-RW drive supports all major operating systems (with the exception of MS-DOS and Windows 3.1x) and all major hardware platforms.To get the full performance it is recommended to use a system environment whichs computing power is equivalent to an IBM compatible PC with a Pentium CPU with 90 MHz clock frequency or more, 16 Mbyte RAM or more and a fixed disk with an access time of 12 ms or less. Important: 1. To use the TEAC CD-RW drive, a IDE (ATAPI) controller is required. The necessary drivers are shipped with the corresponding controller card or they are available from the manufacturer of the controller.. 2. Please do not install your TEAC CD-RW drive near sources of radiating heat like hard disks. Selecting the CD-R/CD-RW media for your TEAC CD-RW drive The best results and the highest performance are ensured by using TEAC CD-R/CD-RW media.
