7-Recording Under the file size value, the maximum recording time for the selected size, format and sample rate appears. NOTE For the same file size, the possible recording time differs depending on the file type selected. Furthermore, if the recording time is 24 hours or more, this will be displayed as 23:59:59. Selecting the input source Follow these procedures to select the input source. 1 Press the SETTING key to open the Input Setting Screen. INT/MIC Sets the input source as the built-in microphone when no microphone cable is connected to the MIC IN jack (stereo mini-jack). When a microphone cable is connected to the MIC IN jack, the input microphone signal becomes the input source. If you select INT/MIC, you should also set the input functions. (See "Setting the INT/MIC IN input functions" below.) GUITAR Sets the input source as the guitar or bass signal input through the GUITAR IN jack (standard mono phone jack) on the front panel. Left and right channels are combined into the same signal. LINE Sets the source as the line level signal (-10 dBV) input to the rear panel LINE IN jack (stereo mini-jack). 2 Use the INPUT item to select one of the following input sources. 42 TASCAM GT-R1

Selecting the input source
Follow these procedures to select the input source.
1 Press the
SETTING
key to open the Input
Setting Screen.
2 Use the
INPUT
item to select one of the
following input sources.
INT/MIC
Sets the input source as the built-in microphone
when no microphone cable is connected to the
MIC
IN
jack (stereo mini-jack). When a microphone
cable is connected to the
MIC IN
jack, the input
microphone signal becomes the input source.
If you select
INT/MIC
, you should also set the
input functions. (See “Setting the INT/MIC IN
input functions” below.)
GUITAR
Sets the input source as the guitar or bass signal
input through the
GUITAR IN
jack (standard mono
phone jack) on the front panel. Left and right
channels are combined into the same signal.
LINE
Sets the source as the line level signal (–10 dBV)
input to the rear panel
LINE IN
jack (stereo
mini-jack).
