TW100-BRF104 Broadband Router+Firewall Chapter 4 Introducing The Web Configurator This chapter introduces the embedded Web configurator and shows you how to log in and perform basic configuration of your TW100-BRF104 Broadband Router+Firewall. The Web configurator was designed with ease-of-use paramount yet still allow fine-tuning of the powerful advanced features of the TW100BRF104 Broadband Router+Firewall. 4.1 Web Configurator And Browsers In order to use the Web Configurator, your computer must have a web browser program installed such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Because the embedded Web Configurator uses Java, your Web browser must be Java-enabled and support HTTP uploads. Free browser programs are readily available for Windows, Macintosh, or UNIX/Linux. 4.1.1 Logging Into The Web Configurator 1. Turn on the Broadband Router+Firewall and wait for initialization to complete. Allow at least one minute and verify that the TEST LED is off. 2. Reboot your computer to obtain DHCP configuration from the Broadband Router+Firewall. 3. Launch your web browser. 4. In the Address box of your browser, type http://192.168.1.1 and press ENTER. 5. Introducing The Web Configurator
This chapter introduces the embedded Web configurator and shows you how to log in and perform basic
configuration of your TW100-BRF104 Broadband Router+Firewall. The Web configurator was designed

BRF104 Broadband Router+Firewall.

Web Configurator And Browsers
In order to use the Web Configurator, your computer must have a web browser program installed such as
Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Because the embedded Web Configurator uses Java,
your Web browser must be Java-enabled and support HTTP uploads. Free browser programs are readily

4.1.1 Logging Into The Web Configurator
