The control panel image is representative. Your appliance may vary slightly. Touch keys Touch keys are touch sensitive areas. Touch a symbol to activate the corresponding function. Moisture can impair the function of the controls. ¡ Do not place cookware close to the displays and sen- sors. The electronics may overheat. Displays The displays show active settings and functions. Display / Name Cooktop ready Power levels Residual heat indicator Indicated function active Cooking zone selected PowerBoost® function active Timer value Timer indicator 5.2 Residual heat indicator The cooktop is equipped with a residual heat indicator for each cooking zone. The residual heat indicator lights up when a cooking zone is turned off. Do not touch the cooking zone when the residual heat indicator lights up. Display Meaning The cooking zone is hot. The cooking zone is warm. If you remove the cookware from the cooking zone during cooking, the residual heat indicator and the selected power level flash alternately. 5.3 Cooking zones Here you can find an overview of the cooking zones available on your cooktop. Place the cookware on the cooking zone that best matches its size. When a cooking zone is active, the corresponding displays light up.
