Maximum Operating Time Exceeded, Oven Light

Control does not react when a key is touched. Fan is running during modes that do not use convection. Warm air or steam escapes from oven vent. Cooling fan runs even when the oven is turned off. Oven door closes faster/slower than normal. The appliance cannot be switched on or is on and cannot be operated; the , symbol is shown on the display. The appliance does not heat up; 6 is shown on the display. Be sure that pad is clean. Touch the center of the touchpad. Use the flat part of your finger. On some models, the convection fan runs while the oven is preheating for the bake mode. This is normal. It is normal to see or feel steam or warm air escaping from the oven vent. Do not block the vent. This is normal. The cooling fan will continue to run, even after the oven has been turned off, until the oven has cooled sufficiently. The soft-close door hinges contain a damping fluid that is affected by temperature. If the oven is in a cold environment, the door will close slower than it will in a warmer environment. A warmer than normal environment, such as when cooking, may cause the door to close slightly faster. The panel lock is activated. Press and hold the LOCK touch button (or TIMERS, if LOCK is not present) until the , symbol goes away. Demo mode is activated in the basic settings. Turn demo mode to OFF in the settings menu. Maximum Operating Time Exceeded Your appliance automatically ends the operation if no duration has been set and the setting has not been changed for 24 hours. The actual cooking time until the operation is stopped automatically varies according to the selected settings. A message appears on the display on the appliance to say that the operation is being ended automatically. Afterwards, the operation is stopped. To use the appliance again, first switch it off. To switch the appliance back on set the required operation. 2. Remove three screws from oven cavity holding the rack in place. 1. Insert the rotisserie rack half way into the oven on rack position 5.	23
2. Slide the left fork into the skewer and tighten the screw.	23
3. Slide meat or poultry for roasting onto the skewer and tighten the screw.	23
4. Slide the right fork onto the skewer and tighten the screw.	23
5. Check the balance of the food on the skewer by rolling the skewer in the palms of your hands. Food that is not evenly balanced on the skewer will not cook evenly.	23
6. Place the rotisserie skewer onto the rack.	23
7. Place the skewer rack into the oven and insert the drive shaft into the opening on the back oven wall.	23
8. If necessary, turn the rotisserie skewer slightly so that the drive shaft fits properly into the opening.	23
9. Insert flat rack on position 1 and insert broil pan to catch drippings.	24
Trussing Poultry for the Rotisserie	24
1. Slip one of the forks on the skewer with the tines pointing to the tip of the skewer. Loosely tighten the screw to keep it from slipping.	24
2. Insert the skewer through the poultry securing with the fork.	24
3. Cut 24\	24
4. Wrap each end of the string around each of the wings; catch each wing tip as the string is brought tightly together at the top and knotted. Do not cut off the extra string.	24
5. Cut another 24\	24
6. Pull legs forward; cross them on top of the skewer, bring string around and tie a knot.	24
7. Connect the string holding the legs to the string holding the wings; then knot. Add the other fork and push tines into the drumsticks to secure.	24
8. Check the balance by rolling the skewer in your palms. Poultry should not rotate or be loose in any way. If so, redo the trussing. The poultry will not cook evenly if it is not balanced on the skewer.	24

1. Turn off power to the oven at the main power supply (fuse or breaker box).	35

5. Insert the tip of a narrow flat blade screwdriver between the metal clips at about a 40° angle. The screwdriver blade must be able to pass between the metal clips to reach the inner catch.	36
6. Push the screwdriver blade inward to disengage the catch from the slot in the bulb housing. Gently pry the lens off by moving the screwdriver handle away from the oven wall.	36
7. Support the glass lens cover to prevent it from falling.The lens should detach easily. Do not attempt to force it.	36
8. Pull the halogen bulb from its socket.	36
9. Replace the halogen bulb. Grasp the new bulb with a clean, dry cloth. Align the bulb prongs with the socket holes and press into place.	36

10. Put the glass cover back on by inserting it into the mounting clip and pressing the end nearest you into the housing until it locks into place. Insert screw through glass cover and tighten.	36

Your appliance automatically ends the operation if no

This is normal. The cooling fan will continue to run, even after

the oven has been turned off, until the oven has cooled suffi-

ciently.

Oven door closes faster/slower than normal.

The soft-close door hinges contain a damping fluid that is

affected by temperature. If the oven is in a cold environment,

the door will close slower than it will in a warmer environ-

ment. A warmer than normal environment, such as when

cooking, may cause the door to close slightly faster.

The appliance cannot be switched on or is on and

cannot be operated; the

The panel lock is activated. Press and hold the LOCK touch

button (or TIMERS, if LOCK is not present) until the
