Welcome to Toshiba Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Setting up your TV Selecting the color temperature You can change the quality of the picture by selecting from three preset color temperatures: cool, medium, and warm. To select the color temperature: 1. Press MENU, then press x or • to highlight the PREFERENCES menu. 2. Press y or z to highlight COLOR TEMPERATURE. 3. Press x or • to highlight the mode you want. Mode cool medium warm Picture Quality blueish neutral reddish Adjusting the picture preferences You can select your desired picture type from three preset picture modes: Sports, Standard, and Movie. To select the picture preferences: 1. Press MENU, then press x or • to highlight the PREFERENCES menu. 2. Press y or z to highlight PICTURE PREFERENCES. 3. Press x or • to highlight the mode you want. The table below describes the effects of the different preferences. Mode sports standard movie memory Picture Quality bright and dynamic picture (factory setting) standard picture setting movie-like picture setting your personal preference* *(see "Adjusting the picture quality" on page 26) Watching video input You can use the TV/VIDEO button on the remote control or the TV/ VIDEO button on the TV to view a signal coming from other devices, such as VCRs or video disc players that may be connected to your TV. (See "Connecting your TV" on page 2.)
