Chapter 6: Using the TV's features Reset Factory Defaults of Audio To reset all tone quality of Audio to their factory default values: 1� Press and open the Audio menu. 2� Highlight Settings. 3� Press u or , all Audio settings will recover to factory default values. Using the Parental Control menu The Parental Control menu includes US Ratings, Canadian Rating , Advanced Rating, Advanced Parental Lock and New PIN Code . You can use these features after entering the correct PIN code. Entering the PIN code 1� Press and open the Prefer menu. 2� Highlight Parental Control. Selecting the optical output format You can use this feature to select the optical output format when you connect a Dolby Digital decoder or other digital audio system to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal on the TV (see "Connecting a digital audio system" on page 18). To select the optical output format: 1� Press and open the Audio menu. 2� Highlight Optical Output Format. 3� Press  or cyclically to select either Dolby Digital or PCM, depending on your device. 3� Press  or to displays the PIN code entry screen. Using the numeric key to key in password. (Default password is 0000) • If the wrong PIN code is entered, the message "Password Error,Retry:" appears. Enter the code again. Stereo 4� Press to save and quick system menu. • When the correct PIN code is entered, the Parental Control Menu opens. 38
