Chapter 5: Quick Connect Guide & TV Guide On Screen setup Completing the Quick Connect Guide assisted setup The following screen appears. Highlight NEXT and press ENTER. Configuring the ANT 1 input source Highlight your ANT 1 input source-antenna or Cable- and press ENTER. Quick Connect Guide Please select your source. Antenna Cable Programming channels into the channel memory Press ENTER to start automatically programming all active channels (for the current input source) into the TV's channel memory. Quick Connect Guide Please push the TOUCH FOCUS button on the front panel. The TV will automatically adjust the convergence of the three picture tubes. Back End Important final setup steps When you have completed the Quick Connect Guide setup process, follow these steps so your TV can receive TV Guide On Screen program data as quickly as possible (otherwise, it may take up to 24 hours for the TV to receive program data). 1. Turn OFF your TV overnight. 2. If you have a Cable box connected, leave it ON. 3. If you have a VCR connected, turn it OFF. 4. If you have more than one Cable system in your area, you may be prompted to select which Cable system's program data to download.
