Others Troubleshooting (Continued) Remote control The remote control does not work. • The batteries in the remote control are exhausted. → Replace all the batteries in the remote control ( page 12, "INSTALLATION GUIDE"). • The light emitter of the remote control is not pointed at the receptor of this unit. → Point the emitter of the remote control at the receptor of this unit. • The receptor of this unit is located too far away from the remote control. → Operate the remote control within 7 meters (23 ft) from the receptor of this unit. • There are obstacles between the remote control and this unit. → Remove any obstacles. • The receptor is disturbed by sunlight or fluorescent light. → Change the place of this unit or shield the light. • The remote mode is not appropriate. → Adjust the remote mode of the remote control and this unit ( page 46, "INSTALLATION GUIDE").
