Welcome Getting Ready Protection of Data in the HDD Card G When removing the HDD Card from the PC Card slot on your personal computer, always perform operations for quitting the use of the HDD Card. For details, see "Removing the HDD Card from a Personal Computer" in the owner's manual for MOBILPHILE Application Software. Removing the HDD Card without performing these operations may cause fatal damage to the system. G Do not turn off the power or remove the HDD Card when reading from or writing to the HDD Card. Neglecting this may cause data loss or product damage. G Before executing partition creation or formatting, confirm that it is safe to erase all the data on the HDD Card. Executing partition creation or formatting will erase all the data saved to the HDD Card. For details, see "Formatting the HDD Card" in the owner's manual for MOBILPHILE Application Software. G Periodically back up the data saved to the HDD Card to prevent data malfunction, data damage, or loss of data. Toshiba Corporation shall not be liable for damage or loss of data in the HDD Card. About Continuous Operations Do not continuously operate the product for an extended period of time (beyond 24 hours). When not operating the product, store it in its dedicated case. About Copyright Regarding music, video, computer programs, databases, and other similar works, the rights of producers and copyright holders are protected by the copyright laws. Making copies of those works is permitted only for personal use at home. It is illegal to copy, fileconvert, modify, sell, distribute on line those works without permissions of the producers and/or the copyright holders. Be sure to observe the copyright laws when making copies using this product.
