Troubleshooting When you find any problems with the player, check the following items before requesting service. Welcome Getting Ready Using the Player Problem The power cannot be turned on or the buttons do not function. The battery is quickly exhausted after charging. Playback cannot be performed. No sound. Audio data cannot be transferred or erased. The charge indicator blinks orange. The charge indicator does not light when charging is attempted. Cause The remaining power of the built-in battery is insufficient. The Hold status has been selected. The button was pressed too quickly. A personal computer is connected. The battery has failed. The HDD Card has not been inserted. No audio data is present. Headphones are not been connected. The minimum volume level has been selected. The player has not been properly connected to a personal computer. The cables have not been properly connected. The cables have not been properly connected. The ambient temperature is out of the permitted range. Remedy Connect the AC adapter and charge the built-in battery.
