And also you can play titles, chapters within a title, or tracks in random order. CANCEL PLAY MODE A-B RPT PLAY DVD VCD Repeat playback and Random playback CD 1 Press PLAY MODE. Each time you press the PLAY MODE button, the repeat mode changes as follows. Chapter Repeat 2 Press PLAY. The DVD/VCR starts repeat playback or random playback. Press the PLAY button within about 5 seconds after you press the PLAY MODE button. DVD Chapter Repeat Repeats the current chapter. DVD Title Repeat Repeats the current title. VCD CD Track Repeat DVD VCD All Repeat CD Repeats the current track. Repeats the entire disc. DVD Chapter Random Plays the chapters within the current title in random order. DVD Title Random VCD CD Track Random Off Plays the titles in random order. Plays the tracks in random order. Resumes normal playback. To resume normal playback Press CANCEL. Notes: • If you press the PLAY MODE button during playback, the DVD/VCR automatically starts repeat playback and random playback after finishing the current title, chapter or track. • Some discs may not permit repeat operation. • You cannot use the random playback function in conjunction with the memory playback function. DVD VCD Repeating a specific segment CD 1 Press A-B RPT at the beginning of the segment (point A) you want to play repeatedly. To resume normal playback Press CANCEL. A- 2 Press A-B RPT again at the end of the segment (point B). The DVD video player automatically returns to point A and starts repeat playback of the selected segment (A-B). Notes: • Some discs may not permit A-B repeat operation. • You cannot set the A-B repeat function for a segment that includes multiple camera angles 50 . • You can specify a segment only within the current title or track (VIDEO CD). • There may be a slight difference between point A and the location where playback actually resumes depending on the disc. Notes:
•
If you press the PLAY MODE button during playback, the
DVD/VCR automatically starts repeat playback and random
playback after finishing the current title, chapter or track.
•
Some discs may not permit repeat operation.
•
You cannot use the random playback function in conjunction
with the memory playback function.
Repeat playback and Random playback
Press PLAY MODE.
Each time you press the PLAY
MODE button, the repeat mode
changes as follows.

Press PLAY.
The DVD/VCR starts repeat playback
or random playback.
Press the PLAY button within about
5 seconds after you press the PLAY
MODE button.

Repeating a specific segment
Press A-B RPT at the beginning of the
segment (point A) you want to play repeatedly.
Press A-B RPT again at the end of the segment
(point B).
The DVD video player automatically
returns to point A and starts repeat
playback of the selected segment
(A-B).
