68 Learning the Basics Using the AccuPoint II Using the AccuPoint II AccuPoint II pointing device Page up Page down Primary button Secondary button The AccuPoint II keys The round button in the middle of the keyboard is the AccuPoint II pointing device. It enables you to move the cursor and to select items on the screen. (If you would prefer to use a mouse or trackball, you can connect one to the computer's serial port or PS/2 port. See "Using a mouse" on page 36. To move the cursor, gently push the pointing device in the direction you want the cursor to move. Pushing harder on the pointing device moves the cursor faster. The primary button acts as the left button on a mouse. The secondary button acts as the right mouse button. The small left button performs the same function as the Page Up key. The small right button performs the same function as the Page Down key. When a step instructs you to click or choose an item, move the cursor to the item, then press and release the primary button.
