Basic setup (VCR) Clock setting/Noise elimination VCR DVD VCR MENU SET +/- ENTER CANCEL Clock setting You must set the date and time for timer recording. Preparation: • Turn ON the TV and select to the corresponding video input. • Press VCR DVD selector to select the VCR mode. (The VCR mode indicator will light.) Example: Setting the clock to "8:30 AM" March, 31 (SAT), 2007. 1 Press VCR MENU. Noise elimination A Blue back screen can be obtained by selecting the NO NOISE BACKGROUND to "ON". When the unit is shipped from the factory, the NO NOISE BACKGROUND is set to "ON". 1 Follow steps 1~2 on the left and press SET + or - to select "NO NOISE BACKGROUND". SYSTEM SETUP CLOCK SET LANGUAGE/IDIOMA/LANGUE NO NOISE BACKGROUND ON OFF 2 Press SET + or - to select "SYSTEM SETUP", then press ENTER. MENU TIMER REC SET AUTO REPEAT ON OFF SYSTEM SETUP 3 Press SET + or - to select "CLOCK SET", then press ENTER. SYSTEM SETUP CLOCK SET LANGUAGE/IDIOMA/LANGUE NO NOISE BACKGROUND ON OFF 〈+/-/ENTER/MENU 〉 2 Press ENTER to select "ON" or "OFF" position. SYSTEM SETUP CLOCK SET LANGUAGE/IDIOMA/LANGUE NO NOISE BACKGROUND ON OFF 〈+/-/ENTER/MENU 〉 3 Press VCR MENU repeatedly until the menu screen is cleared. 4 Press SET + or - to set the month, then press ENTER. MONTH 3 DAY 1 (THU) YEAR 2007 TIME 12 : 00AM 〈+/-/ENTER/CANCEL/MENU 〉 5 Set the day, year and time as in step 4. 6 After setting the clock, date and time starts functioning automatically. To make corrections any time during the process Press CANCEL repeatedly until the item you want to change blinks, then press SET + or -. Note: After a power failure or disconnection of the power, the timer settings will be lost.
