Feature Buttons Note: The exact operation of the Feature Buttons depends on how your PBX system is configured. Contact your PBX Administrator for more information. Placing a call "on hold" Press HOLD. You'll hear a "beep" and see: To resume the call, press HOLD or TALK. Transferring a Call Press TRANSFER. You'll hear a "beep", and see: Dial the target number. When the receiving party answers, press TALK to complete the transfer. Connecting a Conference Call To connect a second party to a call in progress, press CONFERENCE. You'll hear a "beep", and see: Dial the second party's number. When the other party answers, press CONFERENCE to have a three-way conversation. 17
