How to operate your answering system To... From the base From a handset (remote operation) play new messages Press Play/stop Press Messages/mute. The system announces the number of new & old messages, then plays the first new message followed by the day & time it was received. Then the system plays the new messages in the order they were received. restart the current message Press Left. Press 1 or select 1:Repeat. replay previous messages Press Left repeatedly until you hear the message you want to replay.
