Press /ALERT to go to the Alpha Name display, " " appears on the display. 3. Press . The Edit cursor flashes. Note: If the frequency of the channel has not been programmed, you cannot program the Alpha Name on the channel. 4. Use this feature to name channels (up to 200 channels) for
easy reference.

Select the channel.

to go to the Alpha Name display,

Note:
If the frequency of the channel has not been
programmed, you cannot program the Alpha Name on
the channel.
