Changing a CTCSS/CDCSS Tone

If you want to program tones for several frequencies during your search, follow these steps: n After you program a frequency and a CTCSS tone or CDCSS tone into a channel, the Search Mode is changed to Search Hold Mode. To activate the Search Mode press /BAND. n If you decide to cancel the CTCSS Tone Search Mode or CDCSS Tone Search Mode while you are searching for frequencies, press and hold until you hear two short beeps and the CTCSS indicator or DCS indicator turns off.
