Call Transfer Feature You can transfer an outside call to the original unit. For more instructions, see the owner's manual supplied with the original unit. To transfer a call to the original unit To receive a transferred call from the original unit To cancel the transfer Press xfer/del during a call. When the original unit receives the transferred call, the TXC580 handset returns to the standby mode. Press talk/flash or spkr to answer the transferred call. Press talk/flash or spkr. • If you transfer a call and it is not picked up after 5 minutes, you hear a beep, and the call will be disconnected. • Only one handset at a time can talk with an outside caller. The termination on an interface may consist of any combination of devices subject only to the requirement that the sum of the Ringer Equivalence Numbers of all the devices does not exceed five. RADIO EQUIPMENT The term "IC:" before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry Canada technical specifications were met. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
