Air-Filter Clean or replace the air-filter after about every 100 hours of use to prevent overheating which could damage the projector. WARNING: Never operate the projector without the air-filter; doing so will damage the projector. E N G L I S H Air Filter Cover Filter Figure 10: Cleaning the air-filter Make sure the projector is cool and the power cord is unplugged before beginning. Flip open the air-filter cover. Gently remove the air filter. Vacuum the air-filter. You may also hand-wash the filter in warm water. (See warning below.) 5 Replace the air-filter. 6 Replace the filter cover. 1 2 3 4 WARNING: Do not power-on the projector unless you are sure the filter is completely dry.
