Installation Anti-tip Device Installation Your range is shipped standard with two types of anti-tip devices. Type 1 is a wall mount device which can be used for all installation applications. Type 2 is a floor mount device which can be used for all applications other than when the range is installed on a concrete sub-floor. Important: The range MUST be installed with one of the anti-tip devices. WARNING TIPPING HAZARD To reduce the risk of the appliance tipping, it must be secured by a properly installed antitip bracket(s). To make sure the bracket has been installed properly, look behind the range with a flashlight to verify proper installation engaged in the rear bottom left corner of the range. • THIS RANGE CAN TIP. • A CHILD OR ADULT CAN TIP THE RANGE AND BE KILLED. • FAILURE TO INSTALL THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE CAN RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS BURNS TO CHILDREN OR ADULTS. • IF THE RANGE IS MOVED THEN THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE MUST BE RE-ENGAGED. Wall Mount Installation Range "X" Dimension Width 36" 8" (20.3 cm) 48" 5" (12.7 cm) 66" 26-1/4" (66.7 cm) 1 Measurement (A) 2 X M+e1a/s4u"re(m.6e4nctm(A) ) Measure from floor to bottom of the anit-tip opening located on the back of range. This will be measurement (A). 3 Locate anti-tip bracket on rear wall with the top left corner at measurement (A) plus 1/2" (1.3 cm) from the floor and "X" from where the right side of range (facing range) is to be located. 4 Mark and drill holes where bracket will be located.
