VIZIO GV47L FHD TV User Manual Preparing Your LCD HDTV for Wall Mounting The VIZIO GV47LHDTV can either be kept on the stand base or mounted on the wall for viewing. If you choose to mount the GV47LHDTV on the wall, please follow the instructions below for removing the stand base. To remove the stand base 1. Unplug all of the cables and cords from your GV47LHDTV. 2. Place the GV47LHDTV face down on a soft and flat surface (blanket, foam, cloth, etc) to prevent any damage to the TV. 3. Pull the stand cover off by squeezing the sides to release the retaining plastic tabs. 4. Remove the four (4) screws so that the stand base can be removed. 5. Gently remove the stand base. 6. Now, the GV47LHDTV can fit securely to a mount (sold separately) by utilizing the mounting holes in the center of the back panel of the TV. Please make sure to read the instructions of your specific mount to properly hang the GV47LHDTV. The pitch of the mounting holes is 600mm horizontally and 200mm vertically. The screw type required is metric M8, 1.25mm pitch.
