Press the tab and slide the battery compartment cover down. 2. Align the two holes of the battery plug with the socket pins in the handset battery compartment, matching the red and black wires of the color-coded label. 3. Place the battery in the compartment with the wires in the lower right corner. 4. Align the cover flat against the battery compartment, then slide it up until it clicks into place. Battery installation
Install the handset battery by following these steps:
Press the tab and slide the battery compartment cover down.
