Appendix Battery After the battery is fully charged for 16 hours, you can expect the following performance: Operation While in use (talking) While not in use (standby*) Operating time Five hours Six days *Handset is off the telephone base but not in use. The battery needs charging when: • A new battery is installed in the handset. • The handset beeps when taken off the telephone base. • LOW BATTERY is displayed and the battery icon on the handset screen is flashing.
