RECOMMENDED grinding instructions The following are grinding instructions for some commonly used whole spices and other suggested ingredients. Whole Spices & Other Ingredients Peppercorn Cinnamon Sticks Star Anise Dried Chili Peppers Cloves Nutmeg Mustard Seed Fenugreek Seed Fennel Seed Sesame Seed Cardamon Pods Bay Leaves Nuts Granulated Sugar Uncooked Rice Max Recommended Amount Recipe 2 oz. Run 5 seconds for coarse, 20 seconds for fine 3 sticks Run 30-45 seconds 1.5 oz.
