When the Resis- tance Strap is properly adjusted, reattach the left side shield and pedal. HOW TO ADJUST THE BELT The exercise cycle features a precision belt that must be 16 kept properly adjusted. If the belt causes excessive noise or slips as you pedal, the belt should be checked. To do this, the left side shield must first be removed. Press down on the centre of the Belt (16) between the front and rear sprockets. There should be from 1/4" to 3/4" of vertical movement in the centre of the Belt. If the Belt (16) is properly adjusted, reat- 16 tach the side shields and ped- 34 als. If the Belt 39 needs to be adjusted, loosen the M10 Washer Nut 37 (34) on each side of the Flywheel (39).
