MY BOOK ESSENTIAL USER MANUAL Uninstalling WD SmartWare Software Important: You can easily uninstall the WD SmartWare software. However, you will need to restart the backup job manually after reinstalling the software as uninstalling deletes all existing backup job configurations. (See "Backing Up Your Computer Files" on page 16.) To uninstall the WD SmartWare software: 1. Double-click the My Book icon on the desktop or WD SmartWare in the Applications list and double-click the Extras folder on the screen that displays: 2. Uninstalling WD SmartWare Software
To uninstall the WD SmartWare software:
1.
Double-click the My Book icon on the desktop or WD SmartWare in the Applications
list and double-click the Extras folder on the screen that displays:

the WD SmartWare Uninstall screen:
Important:
You can easily uninstall the WD SmartWare software. However, you will
