5 LED DISPLAY AND SETTINGS BUTTONS When you select a cycle, its default settings will light up and the Estimated Time Remaining (for Auto Cycles) or actual time remaining (for Manual Cycles) will be displayed. Use the buttons along the bottom of the display to adjust settings. See Cycle Guide for available settings on each cycle. Not all settings are available with all cycles. Cycle Status Lights The indicator bar at the top of the display will let you know what stage the drying cycle is in process. For more information on each stage, see "Cycle Status Indicators". Temperature When using Manual Cycles or Enhanced Touch Up, you may select a dry temperature based on the type of load you are drying. Use the warmest setting safe for the garments in the load. Follow garment label instructions. NOTE: Eco Auto Cycles use a preset temperature that is not adjustable. Dryness Level You may adjust the Dryness Level on Eco Auto Cycles, if desired. NOTE: Dryness Level is for use with Eco Auto Cycles only. Garment # (on some models) Use this button with the Quick Refresh cycle to select the number of garments being refreshed. When START is pressed, the cycle time will be displayed. See Cycle Guide for more information. Cycle Signal Use this button to turn the buzzer indicating the end of a drying cycle on or off, or to adjust the volume of the buzzer. NOTE: You may also turn off the tones that sound when a button is pressed. Press and hold the EcoBoost button for about one second to turn button sounds on or off. 6 OPTION BUTTONS Use these buttons to select available options for your dryer. Not all cycles and options are available on all models. EcoBoost Press to activate the EcoBoost option. The EcoBoost option allows you to increase your energy savings by using a slightly lower heat level. This may increase dry times somewhat. NOTE: Press and hold the EcoBoost button for about one second to turn button sounds on or off. Damp Dry Signal Press to hear the Damp Dry Signal when the load is damp, but not completely dry. This will allow you to take clothes out of the load that do not need to dry completely. This option is available on Heavy Duty, Normal, Jeans, Bulky Items, Casual, and Delicate cycles. Drum Light Press to turn the LED drum light on or off. The light will also turn on when the door is open, and turn off automatically after about 5 minutes. Control Lock Use this button to lock the controls of the dryer and avoid an accidental change in cycle options or preferences during a drying cycle. 7 WRINKLE SHIELD/WRINKLE SHIELD with Steam (on some models) If you will be unable to remove a load immediately, press Wrinkle Shield to add up to 120 minutes of periodic tumbling to help reduce wrinkling. On models with Wrinkle Shield with Steam, a short steam cycle is added after 60 minutes to help smooth out wrinkles. NOTE: On models with Wrinkle Shield with Steam. you may turn off Steam by pressing and holding the Wrinkle Shield button until - St appears in the display. The dryer will remember this setting for future loads. To turn Steam back on, press and hold the Wrinkle Shield button again for several seconds. 8 STATIC REDUCE (on some models) Press to add the Static Reduce option to select Auto cycles. The dryer will automatically tumble, pause, and introduce a small amount of moisture into the load to help reduce static. This option adds approximately 8 minutes to the total cycle time. 7
