Noises Problem Possible Causes and/or Solutions Surface burner making popping noises Wet burner: Allow it to dry. Gas range noises during bake and broil operations The following are some normal sounds with the explanations. These sounds are normal operational noises that can be heard each time the bake or broil burners ignite during the cycle.
