Creating Original Performances 4 Turn Knob 1 to select one of the following voice categories. Piano E.Piano Key Guitar Bass Acoustic pianos Electric and synth pianos Other keyboard instruments such as organ, harpsichord, and accordion Acoustic guitars, electric guitars, shamisen, and mallet-type voices Acoustic, electric, and synth bass voices Pad Strings Synth Brass Wind Synth pads and choir voices Ensemble, solo, and synth strings and harps Synthesizer voices Ensemble, solo, and synth brass Woodwind, harmonica, shakuhachi, and bagpipe voices HINT Individual category names are written below each of the Number buttons [1] to [10]. To select a category directly, therefore, you can press the corresponding Number button. 5 Turn Knob 2 to choose a voice from the selected category. For details regarding all categories and voices, refer to the Data List pdf document. For more details regarding voices from the PIANO and E.PIANO categories, refer the Reference Manual pdf document. 6 Select the Pre-Amplifier block, the Modulation Effect block, or the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block for editing by pressing and holding its button (for at least one second). The Pre-Amplifier block can be edited only if a voice from the PIANO or E.PIANO category was assigned to the current part, and the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block is available on the CP5 only. The corresponding parameter setting screen will be displayed. Quick Start Guide NOTE You can also call up a parameter setting screen by holding down the [EXIT/jump to edit] button and pressing the corresponding block button. 7 If you have selected the Modulation Effect block or the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block, press the [- PAGE] or [1] button to ensure that Page 1 is displayed.
