Appendix Optional DIMM Installation 5 Re-install the cover you removed in step 3, in reverse order. NOTE • When you re-install the cover, make sure to steady the cover from the side with your hand. Removing DIMMs 1 Press the ejector lever until the DIMM unlocks. 6 Check that the installed DIMMs are func- tioning properly. Set the DTX900 right-side up, and connect the AC power adaptor to the DC IN jack of the DTX900 and an AC wall outlet. Turn on the power, go to the Sampling mode by pressing the [SAMPLING] button, then press the [SF6] INF button (page 136). If the DIMMs have been installed properly, the appropriate available memory size is indicated in the display. Memory size 2 Pull the DIMM vertically out of the socket. NOTE • If the DIMMs have not been installed properly, the Sampling function will not work correctly. If this occurs, turn the power off, perform the instructions above again, and make sure to install the DIMMs firmly. Appendix 149 DTX900 Owner's Manual
